Chad Daybell Sentenced to Death for Triple Murder in 'Doomsday' Case

Chad Daybell has been sentenced to death after being found guilty of the 2019 murders of his former wife Tammy Daybell and Lori Vallow's two children. The jury recommended the death penalty after deliberating for eight hours. Daybell, an author with a Mormon following, married Lori Vallow shortly after Tammy's death. The remains of Lori's children were later found on Daybell's property, leading to his conviction on multiple charges including first-degree murder and conspiracy. Lori Vallow was also convicted and sentenced to life in prison.
