"Brave 13-Year-Old Rescued After Waving 'Help Me' Sign in Kidnapping Case"

Federal authorities have arrested a North Texas man accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl. The girl was kidnapped at gunpoint in San Antonio and taken to California, where she was eventually rescued after flashing a "Help Me!" sign from inside the suspect's car. The girl had run away from home and was found at a laundromat in Long Beach. The suspect is facing federal charges of kidnapping and transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity. Good Samaritans who saw the girl's sign called the police, leading to the arrest.
