Arrests made in Morgan State University mass shooting case

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of attempted murder in connection with the shooting of five people on the campus of Morgan State University in Baltimore. A second suspect, 18-year-old Jovan Williams, has been identified and is considered armed and dangerous. The shooting occurred during homecoming week activities, and all homecoming events and classes were canceled as a result. The university has announced a plan to increase security, including the installation of barrier fencing around the campus perimeter.
