Arrest Made in Assault on Former Sen. Martha McSally During Iowa Jog

A man accused of assaulting former Senator Martha McSally while she was jogging in Council Bluffs, Iowa, has been arrested. McSally reported that the man came up behind her, molested and fondled her, but she fought him off and chased him before calling the police. The suspect, identified as Dominic M. Henton, was apprehended in Omaha, Nebraska, and is awaiting extradition on a charge of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse. McSally, who had previously revealed being raped while in the Air Force, expressed that the incident tapped into past trauma but felt empowered for fighting back.
