Arrest Made in Assault on Former Arizona Senator Martha McSally

A 25-year-old man, Dominic Henton, was arrested for allegedly assaulting former Arizona U.S. Senator Martha McSally in Council Bluffs. Surveillance video showed Henton following McSally before the attack occurred. McSally fought him off and provided a detailed description to the police. Henton was arrested by Omaha police after calling for a welfare check on himself. Council Bluffs police later arrested him after learning about the warrant. McSally, a former U.S. Air Force combat pilot, expressed gratitude for the local law enforcement's efforts.
