Arizona Shooting Leaves Officer and Civilian Dead, Multiple Injured

A Gila River police officer, Joshua Briese, was killed and another officer injured while responding to a disturbance at a house party in Santan, District 4. Following the incident, which also resulted in one civilian death and three injuries, Gila River leaders issued a ban on all dances in the community. The ban includes severe penalties for hosting or attending dances. The community mourns the loss and prays for the recovery of the injured.
