Accused Gilgo Beach serial killer's wife files for divorce

The wife of accused Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann, Asa Ellerup, has filed for divorce after more than 20 years of marriage. Heuermann was recently charged with the deaths of three sex workers whose bodies were found in Long Island. Prosecutors suspect he is also responsible for the death of a fourth woman. Ellerup and Heuermann have two adult children and have lived together in Massapequa Park. Ellerup has not been implicated in the crimes and was traveling during the times they were committed.
