Ukraine's Air Assault Brigades Flank Russia's Strongpoint, Liberating Robotyne

Ukrainian air assault brigades, the 46th Air Mobile and 82nd Air Assault Brigades, are shifting their attention to the town of Novoprokopivka in southern Ukraine, flanking it by first liberating the town of Verbove. This strategy has been successful in previous engagements, eroding Russian formations and achieving an even loss ratio. The Russian garrison in Verbove is smaller than in Novoprokopivka, and the Russians may have to choose between reinforcing Verbove or other strongpoints along the front line. The outcome will determine whether the Ukrainian air-assault forces' efforts around Verbove are the main thrust towards Melitopol or a diversion supporting the main effort elsewhere.
