Gaza's Traumatized and Exhausted: Israel-Hamas Fighting Intensifies

Hospitals in Khan Younis, Gaza, are overwhelmed as Israeli airstrikes intensify and tanks and troops enter the city. The fighting has resulted in the deaths of at least 1,200 people, bringing the total number killed in Gaza during the war to over 16,000. Many of Gaza's 2.3 million residents sought refuge in the south, but with the fighting spreading, they are running out of places to flee to. Thousands of displaced people are crammed inside hospitals, while others are stranded in the streets, facing a worsening humanitarian crisis. The situation is described as traumatising and exhausting for the people of Gaza.
