Russian soldiers hinder evacuation from Kozachi Laheri village.

Russian soldiers in a state of intoxication blocked all possible ways out of the flooded Kozachi Laheri village in Kherson Oblast and prohibited evacuation after the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant was blown up. In addition, occupiers in the town of Hola Prystan are forcing the owners of two-storey houses out of their homes and settling in them themselves. The destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant caused an ecological catastrophe, with water from the reservoir flooding towns and villages and at least 150 tonnes of machine oil spilling into the Dnipro River. Ukrainian prosecutors are investigating the crimes of ecocide and violation of the customs of war in Kherson Oblast.
