Lendeborg's 27 Points Push Michigan Past Tennessee Into Final Four

Michigan rolled to a 95-62 victory over Tennessee in the NCAA Midwest Regional final at United Center, led by Yaxel Lendeborg’s 27 points as the Wolverines opened with a 21-0 run and never trailed, advancing to face Arizona in the Final Four. Ja'Kobi Gillespie paced Tennessee with 21 points, while Nimari Burnett and Elliot Cadeau contributed for Michigan (Cadeau had 10 assists). Both teams had 42 rebounds; Michigan shot 51.8% from the floor and 37.0% from three (29-56 and 10-27), while Tennessee shot 31.6% FG and 19.2% 3PT (24-76 and 5-26). Michigan also went 27-for-37 at the line (73.0%), compared with Tennessee’s 9-for-17 (52.9%).
