Salesforce is in advanced talks to acquire Informatica, a cloud-based data management services provider, in a deal that could be announced soon. The potential acquisition would be the biggest for Salesforce since its purchase of Slack Technologies in 2020 and comes amid increased deal-making in the technology sector. Informatica, which went public again in 2021, offers subscription-based data management services and has seen its shares rise nearly 43% this year, valuing the company at about $11.35 billion.
