US Law Firm Rescinds Job Offers to Students Supporting Hamas and Criticizing Israel

Davis Polk, one of the world's largest law firms, has rescinded job offers to three law students from Harvard and Columbia universities who were involved in student groups that signed statements critical of Israel's role in the Israel-Hamas conflict. The firm stated that the students' support for these letters was contrary to its values and its responsibility to provide a safe and inclusive work environment. Other companies, including Winston & Strawn, Sweetgreen, and FabFitFun, have also stated that they would not hire students associated with these letters.
