T-Mobile to Acquire US Cellular Assets for $4.4B

T-Mobile has agreed to acquire most of U.S. Cellular's wireless operations, including all stores and customers, in a $4.4 billion deal that also includes up to $2 billion in debt. The acquisition aims to provide more coverage and capacity, especially in areas with limited options, and to increase competition with AT&T and Verizon. This move follows T-Mobile's recent acquisitions of Mint Mobile and Ultra Mobile, and its 2020 merger with Sprint.
