"New York State Implements Salary Transparency Law for Employers"

A new salary transparency law has gone into effect across New York state, requiring employers with at least four workers to disclose salary ranges for any job advertised internally or externally. The law also applies to remote employees who work outside of New York but report to a supervisor, office, or worksite based in the state. Government agencies and temporary help firms are exempt from the law.
