Microsoft has requested a two-month pause of its appeal against the UK's block on its $69 billion takeover of Activision Blizzard, in order to allow more time for the parties to resolve the dispute. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) had blocked the acquisition in April, citing concerns about competition in cloud gaming. However, after a US federal court ruled in favor of the deal, the CMA said it would consider a modified proposal. All sides have applied for a pause in the case to explore potential solutions.
