Honda Recalls 250K Vehicles Over Engine Concerns

Honda is recalling nearly 250,000 vehicles in the U.S. due to a manufacturing defect that could cause engines to run improperly, stall, or stop while driving. The recall affects various models, including Acura TLX cars, Acura MDX SUVs, Ridgeline pickup trucks, Odyssey minivans, and Pilot SUVs. The defect is related to a manufacturing error with the engine crankshaft, which could lead to premature wear and seizure of the connecting rod bearing. Honda will notify affected owners and provide necessary repairs or replacements. No injuries or deaths have been reported so far.
