Amazon Driver Hospitalized After Rattlesnake Bite in Florida

An Amazon delivery driver in Florida was bitten by an eastern diamondback rattlesnake while dropping off a package at a home in Palm City. The driver immediately fell ill and was hospitalized in serious condition. Eastern diamondback rattlesnakes are found throughout Florida and their bites inject venom that can damage tissue, although human deaths are rare due to the availability of antivenoms.
