Fireworks wreak havoc, leaving families homeless and injured

A family in Gilbert, Arizona, lost their home after a fireworks-related fire broke out when they put used fireworks into their recycling bin. The fire, which destroyed the entire roof of the house, started after the family had set off fireworks in their backyard to celebrate the 4th of July and then doused them in water before placing them in the bin. Although the family and two pets managed to escape, one pet is still missing. Firefighters emphasized the importance of properly disposing of fireworks to prevent such incidents.
