Fatal Parking Garage Collapse in Lower Manhattan, NYC

A parking garage collapsed in New York City's Financial District, killing one person and injuring several others. Firefighters had to pull rescuers out due to concerns about the building's structural stability. At least five workers were injured, and one person was found dead. The workers were doing parking garage operations at the time of the collapse. The fire department will continue to conduct searches to confirm that everyone in the four-story building has been accounted for.
