"Google Flights introduces price guarantee feature for cheapest airfare"

Google Flights has launched a pilot program called the Google Price Guarantee, which predicts when a flight won't get any cheaper before takeoff and shows a badge next to the price. If the prediction is wrong and the flight price drops, Google will pay the difference, but the flight must be booked through the "Book on Google" function within Google Flights. The program is free, but there are technical requirements, including a U.S. billing address and phone number, and a maximum payment of $500 per calendar year.
