Breaking In: Unconventional Access to Motel Rooms

After a challenging day of road walking on the Eastern Continental Trail, the hiker encounters unexpected surprises including a small store, treats from a kind stranger, and a hidden gas station. They eventually find a church to camp at, although it is less than ideal. The next day, they walk into town, rest at a motel, and enjoy meals at a Chinese buffet and a catfish house. However, they encounter a lock malfunction and the motel staff uses a crowbar to open the door.
