YouTube's AI dubbing tool breaks language barriers for viewers and creators.

YouTube is set to introduce an AI-powered tool called Aloud that will allow creators to dub their videos into multiple languages, making content accessible to a wider audience. The tool transcribes the video, lets the creator review and edit the transcription, translates and dubs the video in the target language, and then publishes it. Aloud is currently being tested with several creators and will support English, Spanish, and Portuguese at launch, with more languages to be added in the future. The feature poses a threat to creators with multiple channels that publish the same video in a different language.
