Proton Drive: Encrypted Cloud Storage Now on Mac

Proton, the Swiss privacy-focused company, has launched its end-to-end encrypted cloud storage service, Proton Drive, for Mac users. Proton Drive offers full encryption for files and folders by default, including metadata and file names. It provides 1GB of free storage, with paid plans starting at $4/month for 200GB. While the Mac app is not yet open source, Proton plans to make it open source in the future. Linux support is also on the company's long-term roadmap.
