"Microsoft's July 2023 Patch Tuesday: Zero-Day Attacks and Voluminous Vulnerabilities"

Microsoft has released software updates to fix 130 security bugs, including five actively exploited flaws, in its Windows operating systems and related software. Meanwhile, Apple issued and then pulled an emergency update to fix a zero-day vulnerability being exploited on MacOS and iOS devices. This marks the sixth month this year that Apple has released updates for zero-day vulnerabilities. Microsoft has patched several vulnerabilities, including four zero-day threats, but one zero-day flaw remains unpatched. Microsoft also revealed plans to address the use of cryptographically signed malware, including malicious drivers signed by Microsoft.
