"Kobo Introduces Color E-Reader Lineup, Starting at $149"

Kobo is set to release its first color e-readers, the $149.99 Kobo Clara Colour and $219.99 Kobo Libra Colour, on April 30. The devices feature 6-inch and 7-inch screens, physical page-turn buttons, stylus compatibility, and E Ink's Kaleido 3 screen technology promising 4,096 colors. The new Kobos significantly undercut other color e-readers in price, with the Clara priced the same as Amazon's black-and-white Kindle Paperwhite. Amazon has yet to introduce a color Kindle e-reader, but its Paperwhite is due for a refresh.
