"Introducing Rufus: Amazon's New AI Shopping Assistant"

Amazon has announced a new AI shopping assistant called Rufus, designed to help users search and shop for products by typing or speaking questions into the Amazon mobile app. Rufus uses Amazon's product catalog, customer reviews, and web information to answer questions, and is currently being tested with a small subset of users in the U.S. before a nationwide rollout. CEO Andy Jassy has indicated that Amazon plans to incorporate generative AI across all its businesses, and the company has recently launched various AI tools and services, including those for retail and cloud customers.
