Apple's Disguised Patent Application Hints at New Wearable Tags

Apple has filed a patent application for wearable tags that can be attached to clothing or worn on the body to perform various health and sports functions, including posture monitoring, sun exposure monitoring, physical therapy, running assistance, fall detection, fitness/activity tracking, motion tracking, medical applications, biometric applications, and personal training. The patent was originally filed in 2020 under the names of Apple's engineers to avoid detection, but has now been published with Apple listed as the applicant. While Apple already offers fitness and activity tracking through the Apple Watch, the wearable tags could provide more detailed analysis of sports skills.
