GE Appliances has introduced the GE Profile Smart Indoor Smoker, a countertop appliance that allows for indoor smoking with wood pellets and features Active Smoke Filtration to prevent smoke from filling your kitchen. Priced at $999, it's available at Williams Sonoma and Best Buy and will be showcased at CES 2024. The smoker includes digital controls, presets for various meats, a smoke and hold feature, and integration with the SmartHQ app for remote monitoring and updates. It's designed to be compact yet capable of smoking large quantities of food and comes with a temperature probe and a bag of pellets. The product originated as an Indiegogo campaign named Arden and is part of GE's innovative smart kitchen lineup.
