Motorola’s Razr Fold bets flagship status with massive battery and premium camera

Motorola’s Razr Fold is taking aim at flagship status: it’s priced at €1,999 with the Moto Pen Ultra (pricing without the stylus and US pricing not disclosed yet) and will launch in Europe first with North America coming later. The device battery is a 6,000mAh silicon‑carbon pack—the first foldable in North America to use that tech—paired with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, IP48/IP49 dust and water protection, a 50‑megapixel main sensor with a 3× optical zoom and OIS, a 50‑megapixel ultrawide that doubles as macro, and 80W wired plus 50W wireless charging. Motorola also promises up to seven years of OS upgrades and security updates. All signs point to a premium, camera‑forward foldable that could push rivals like Samsung and Google to raise the bar in this space.
