"Varda Secures Reentry License for Space Manufacturing Capsule"

Varda Space Industries has received a reentry license from the FAA for its W-Series 1 spacecraft, allowing the company to land a capsule containing pharmaceutical experiments at the Utah Test and Training Range. The capsule is scheduled to return on Feb. 21, following the spacecraft's launch in June on a SpaceX rideshare mission. This marks the first time the FAA has granted a Part 450 reentry license, and Varda also has an agreement with Southern Launch for future capsule returns at the Koonibba Test Range in Australia.
