This move aims to increase reliability and interoperability of Thread devices. Additionally, Thread Group announced updates for 2024 to make Thread devices more interoperable, reliable, and flexible, including opening up more visibility into Thread networks for easier troubleshooting and requiring Thread border routers to provide a standardized path to the Internet.
