Eve Introduces Groundbreaking Matter-Compatible Smart Wall Outlet

Eve Systems has announced the Eve Energy Outlet, a Thread-enabled, Matter-compatible wall outlet with energy monitoring capabilities. The outlet can be controlled individually and works with various platforms, including Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings. However, energy monitoring can only be accessed through Eve's app or the Samsung SmartThings app. The company also revealed plans for a Matter version of its Thread smart light switch and the launch of its own smart blinds collection. Matter is an interoperability standard developed by Apple, Amazon, Google, and Samsung to provide a common language for smart home devices to communicate locally without relying on a cloud connection.
