Apple's iPhone lineup faces delays in adopting ProMotion displays and all-screen design.

Industry analyst and iPhone leaker Ross Young suggests that Apple will not be introducing its ProMotion display technology to several upcoming iPhone models for the next two years. The base models of the iPhone 15 and 16 will continue to have LTPS displays, while the iPhone 17 will launch with ProMotion, allowing it to catch up to five-year-old hardware. The iPhone 15 may also be the first standard model to ditch the camera notch, according to Young's information, instead opting for the Dynamic Island's pill-like design.
