Miraculous Escape: Woman Survives Spear Through Windshield

San Antonio police are investigating an "unprovoked" and "random" attack in which someone threw a five-foot-long spear at a woman's car, shattering her windshield. The incident occurred near Interstate 10 and FM 16 outside Converse. The woman, Shavone Canales, was not injured but was left shaken. Police have not found the person responsible and there is no known motive. Canales recorded video of the crime scene as investigators removed the spear from her car. She will have to pay around $400 to fix her broken windshield.
