Nintendo 'Hacker' Gary Bowser Freed from Prison

Gary Bowser, a member of the Nintendo hacking group "Team Xecuter," has been released from federal prison after serving 40 months of his sentence. Bowser, who was not a leading figure in the operation, was the purported salesperson of the group and was paid a limited amount. He is now at a processing center, preparing for his return to Canada. Bowser has to pay $14.5 million in restitution, with $10 million going to Nintendo, and will carry the financial consequences of his involvement for the rest of his life.
