"PlayStation Portal Hacked to Run PSP Emulator and Games"

Google engineers have hacked Sony’s PlayStation Portal to run emulated PSP games locally, bypassing the device's limitation of streaming games from a PS5 console. The PPSSPP emulator is now running natively on the Portal, allowing games like Grand Theft Auto 3 to run without Wi-Fi streaming. The exploit, achieved through software, was revealed by Google engineers Andy Nguyen and Calle Svensson, with no immediate plans for a public release. If made available, the exploit could enhance the Portal's capabilities by enabling local software execution, including game emulators and potentially Android games.
