A speedrunner named gymnast86 has completed The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in 1 hour and 34 minutes without using any amiibo. The speedrun utilizes the game's new weapon-fusing ability, but some of the glitches present in Breath of the Wild have been fixed by Nintendo. The current world record for completing the game's predecessor, Breath of the Wild, is 23 minutes and 42 seconds.
