Zelda Speedrunner Achieves Sub-Hour Completion of Tears of the Kingdom

A speedrunner has beaten The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in under an hour, just three weeks after its release, setting a new world record of 59 minutes and 22 seconds. The run was an "Any%" run on Version 1.1.1 and involved the speedrunner using tricks with weapons to move faster across the ground. The game is much larger in scale than previous Zelda games, so completing it in under an hour is a remarkable feat.
