Horii also discussed his involvement in Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince, revealing that he fine-tuned and fixed the early hours of the game. The release date for The Dark Prince was intentionally kept secret until near completion. Horii accepted the request to use Psaro and Rose as the main characters for the next Dragon Quest Monsters entry, and mentioned that the team has ideas for future DQM protagonists.
