Yakuza Games on GOG Release Without Full Credits

Sega released the Yakuza series on GOG but removed several developers and support studios from the games' credits. The removed names include chief creator Toshihiro Nagoshi, director Kazuki Hosokawa, art supervisor Saizo Nagai, and game design supervisor Koji Yoshida. Support studios, who assist with more technical aspects, were also cut. The reason for the change is unclear, and it has been criticized as unnecessary and disrespectful to the people who worked on these games. The Steam version still credits the developers properly.
