The company has taken an impairment allowance of close to $10 million, suggesting a complete scrapping of the existing version of the game. CD Projekt will now work on formulating a new framework for the project, which was previously billed as an innovative take on The Witcher series aimed at veterans and newcomers alike. The Molasses Flood in Boston was developing the game, which was in pre-production as of October 2022.
