"Warhammer 40K 10th Edition Streamlines Rules and Offers Free Army Rules"

Games Workshop has announced the 10th edition of Warhammer 40,000, featuring streamlined rules and a new format called Combat Patrol, which uses pre-constructed boxes of miniatures as a balanced fighting force. The new edition will use a "datasheet" system to contain all the rules needed to run a single unit of miniatures, and Universal Special Rules will be reintroduced to the format. The Arks of Omen series of books will introduce a new way to play called Boarding Action, which is compatible with both editions of the game. The 10th edition is set to release this summer.
