Hogwarts Legacy, a Harry Potter game, has the potential to become the best-selling game of 2023 in the US, ending the 15-year streak of Call of Duty or Rockstar Games titles. With a head start in the market and strong sales on the Nintendo Switch, Hogwarts Legacy has surpassed Modern Warfare III in terms of total time on the market and commercial success. Despite poor reviews, Modern Warfare III was the best-selling game in November and currently holds the second spot for the year.
