"Ubisoft Announces Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, a Side-Scrolling Metroidvania for Multiple Platforms"

Ubisoft has announced a new 2D action platformer game, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, which follows a Persian warrior named Sargon on a quest to find the missing Prince Ghassan in the cursed region of Mount Qaf. The game features a Metroidvania structure with Persian mythology-inspired environments, platforming dangers, puzzles, combat encounters, time powers, and side quests. The game's soundtrack will be composed by Mentrix and Gareth Coker. It will be released on January 18, 2024, on various platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X, PC, and Amazon Luna.
