CD Projekt has shifted its focus to developing the next mainline The Witcher game, codenamed Polaris, with over 400 developers now working on the project. The company also revealed that the next installment in the Cyberpunk franchise, codenamed Orion, is in the concept stage of its development with 47 developers currently assigned to the project. The Witcher 4 is still in pre-production and is expected to be at least three years away from release, running on Unreal Engine 5 and aiming to deliver more intense gameplay than its predecessor.
