The Lifeweaver Controversy in Overwatch 2

Lifeweaver, the newest support hero in Overwatch 2, is voiced by Thai actor Phuwin Tangsakyuen. Tangsakyuen began his acting career at 11 years old and received his breakthrough role in the 2021 series Fish Upon the Sky. Lifeweaver is the first Overwatch character from a Southeast Asian country and speaks both Thai and English during matches. Despite initial complaints about his controls and healing efficiency, Lifeweaver has proven beneficial in rescuing teammates with Life Grip.
