Naughty Dog and PlayStation have released a trailer for The Last of Us Part 2: Remastered's No Return roguelike mode, which will be available on PlayStation 5 starting January 19, 2024. The mode offers a gameplay loop where players progress as far as they can in a level, die, and restart with upgrades. It features single-player gameplay, non-canon to the main story, and allows players to play as different characters with unique costumes. The trailer showcases various maps and game modes, as well as randomized mods. The Remastered version also includes additional features and allows players to upgrade from the PS4 version for $10.
