"The Division franchise expands with new spinoff and updates"

Ubisoft announced a roadmap for The Division 2's fifth year of support and a deep dive into the upcoming free-to-play spin-off, The Division Heartland, which takes the series to rural America for the first time and focuses on survival aspects. Heartland is split between scavenging during the day and engaging in deadly PvEvP action at nighttime. The Division 2 also gets a new roguelite mode, Descent, and a Leon Kennedy skin. The Warlords Of New York expansion is required to receive all the content outlined in the roadmap, including a return to New York and new story content.
