The Day Before Studio's Closure: A Disastrous Scam

Following the closure announcement of FNTASTIC, the developer behind The Day Before, DayZ and Rust developers decided to troll FNTASTIC on Twitter. DayZ developer Bohemia Interactive celebrated DayZ's 10th anniversary in Early Access and took jabs at FNTASTIC, while Rust developers used a "red marker" approach to parody FNTASTIC's statement. Both DayZ and Rust are open-world survival games that were once competitors to The Day Before, but FNTASTIC's game received negative reviews and a significant drop in player count after its Early Access launch.
